Dear +Bp Garth, As I reflect on that memorable event,I think what a great joy it was for me to have a part in the Confirmations and ordination.I will always be grateful to have a part in it. Also, the conversations we had as we drove to and from Manitoba togther, was a time of edification and learning for me. May God continue to bless the Confirmands and new Deacon. In Christ, Richard+
Ascension Anglican Orthodox Mission was founded in January of 2009. We are members of the Anglican Orthodox Communion which has its head office in Statesville, North Carolina, USA, but which is present in many countries throughout the world. Our Presiding Bishop is Jerry L. Ogles.
Ascension AO Mission is dedicated to the proclamation of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in Canada, especially in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and presently has a small presence in both those provinces. We adhere to the King James Version of the Bible. We use the Book of Common Prayer, 1662, in our public worship. We uphold the doctrine of The Thirty-nine Articles of the Church of England. We are not in communion with those who do not faithfully adhere to or uphold these standards. We do seek to minister to all those who are genuinely interested in the Word of God.
